Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Inside Sales colleague to join our team in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Quote enquiry management
  • Fast and efficient Quote turnaround
  • Supporting Business Development Managers (BDM), Sales Managers and Sales Directors
  • Customer Communication- engaging with customers via phone/ email/ online platforms to understand their supply chain requirements
  • Account Management- maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing/ new customers to promote repeat business whilst looking at potential growth opportunities
  • CRM Management- Updating and maintaining CRM system with new leads/ opportunities
  • Customer Visits/ Meetings as required and when required by Management
  • Strong bond with Trade/Customer Service teams to ensure Ellerman can provide best in class customer experience i.e. Quotes/ Service Updates/ Schedules

Skills and Experience

  • Strong Communication skill set. Proven and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written with customers.
  • Sales Focused- Desire to increase sales and explore growth opportunities
  • Product Knowledge- Understanding your market and looking to actively promote within target market
  • Time Management- Strong organisational skills to manage accounts, mailboxes, tasks, CRM updates
  • Interpersonal Skills- Important to be able to build internal and external relationships as part of a team whilst representing company ethos and values.
  • Knowledge of Short Sea shipping would be desirable but not essential.
  • Proactive problem-solving skillset
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and or sales environment
  • Previous commercial experience would be desirable but not essential
