Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Houlton, Rugby, with flexibility for hybrid working.

As an Inside Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating, developing and converting sales opportunities across WAGO UK & Ireland. Acting as an extension of the external sales team, you will build strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities and help drive sustainable sales growth through proactive customer engagement.

You will manage inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads, qualify opportunities, develop existing customer accounts and identify new business opportunities through outbound activity. Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams, you will maintain a healthy sales pipeline, support strategic account development and ensure customers receive an exceptional experience throughout their journey.

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with a strong focus on customer engagement, CRM management and commercial success. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, providing pipeline updates and supporting initiatives that increase customer retention, product adoption and revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an Inside Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service or commercial role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience identifying and developing sales opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or technical environment would be advantageous
