Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys growing existing accounts, developing strategic partnerships, and uncovering new opportunities within established client portfolios?
Reporting to the Sales Team Manager, the Account Executive is responsible for retaining, developing, and growing a portfolio of Assessment clients. The role focuses on building long-term customer relationships, increasing wallet share, driving renewals, and identifying opportunities to expand LRQA's certification, assurance, and training services within existing accounts.

Grow Existing Client Relationships
Develop and strengthen relationships with a portfolio of existing Assessment clients, becoming a trusted advisor and primary commercial contact.

Drive Account Growth
Identify opportunities to expand LRQA's service offering across existing customer accounts through cross-sell, upsell, and retention activities.

Deliver Revenue Performance
Own renewal, retention, and growth targets across your portfolio, creating account plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth and long-term client value.

Understand Client Needs
Engage stakeholders at all levels to understand their business challenges, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives, positioning LRQA solutions that support their success.

Manage Opportunities Effectively
Maintain a healthy pipeline of account growth opportunities, ensuring all activities are managed through the CRM system and progressed effectively through the sales cycle.

Collaborate Across LRQA
Work closely with Service Delivery, Customer Success, Marketing, and Technical Teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience and maximize client retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of existing Assessment clients.
- Achieve annual retention, renewal, and growth targets.
- Develop account plans for strategic customers.
- Conduct regular business reviews and customer engagement activities.
- Identify and convert cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Manage customer renewals and contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM records.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Proactively manage customer risks and retention activities.
- Build executive-level relationships within key accounts.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in account management, customer success, or sales within a B2B environment.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing customer portfolios and delivering revenue growth.
- Ability to identify and develop cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong planning, forecasting, and pipeline management capability.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales management tools.
