Inside Sales Account Executive

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join our Commercial team as an Inside Sales Account Executive.

Role

The Inside Sales Account Executive will be responsible for externally, selling Key Travel's full service online and offline services, engaging with an established client portfolio and prospects primarily via email, phone, virtual calls and other social/digital channels. This role is designed for a high-performing tele-sales professional looking to progress into the travel sector and experience travel technology solutions, with clear exposure to enterprise-grade solutions.

The role supports ambitious growth targets and is underpinned by a structured onboarding, training and coaching programme with career progression in focus.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Able to operate autonomously
  • Experienced in an inside sales role and can deliver a dynamic customer engagement experience
  • Excited by fast paced and varied stakeholder engagement from booker to procurement level
  • Solutions orientated that have a direct commercial benefit to Key Travel and your performance
  • Thrive in developing long term sustainable partnerships that customers can clearly see benefit them
  • Can apply strategies that ensure your key performance indicators are exceeded
  • Get a buzz from delivering collaborative solutions and working with cross functionally with peers
  • Highly organised and structured, can develop a clear action plan and drive to conclusion
  • Fact oriented – test your assumptions with data and facts
  • Skilled in building immediate credibility, rapport to positively influences the customer and revenue performance
  • Skilled in needs-based selling and objection handling
  • Able to translate product features into customer outcomes (e.g. efficiency, control, savings)

Whilst not essential, it would be advantageous if you meet any of the following criteria:

  • Substantial experience in operating high volume outbound calls and virtual customer engagements
  • Great sales process and customer needs analysis experience
  • Highly analytical and data driven, completely at home operating the Salesforce CRM
  • Experience in collaborating with others to continuously improve performance

Education and experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in tele-sales or tele-marketing, ideally in travel, corporate services, or online platforms

Personal attributes and competencies

  • Ambitious and motivated by progression into SaaS and travel technology
  • Confident, persuasive telephone manner with strong listening skills
  • Self-starter who thrives on the challenge
  • Possess a consultative mindset
  • Strong time management and pipeline discipline
  • Resilient, with a positive response to challenge and rejection
  • Professional, credible and confident engaging with senior stakeholders

Salary and benefits

  • Base salary of up to £30,000, dependent on experience
  • £10k, uncapped On Target Commission (OTC), paid quarterly
  • 24 days annual leave
  • 0.5 day’s leave for your birthday plus birthday treat
