Competitive Salary + Commission
Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time
Location: Office-based, with occasional UK customer visits within the assigned territory.
Work Pattern: Hybrid
Language Skills: English (additional languages beneficial depending on territory)
Reporting To: Regional Sales Director

About the Role
As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Electro Rent, you’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts, driving revenue growth by developing existing relationships, re-engaging dormant customers and converting new business opportunities.
Through proactive engagement across phone, video and digital channels, you’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver growth, strengthen customer relationships and manage your pipeline and forecasts through Salesforce.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage Key Accounts: Own a portfolio of strategic accounts and prospects, driving retention, growth and new business opportunities.
- Build Customer Relationships: Engage customers through phone, video and digital channels, with face-to-face visits where they add value.
- Drive Account Growth: Develop account plans, identify new opportunities and proactively re-engage customers through targeted outreach and campaigns.
- Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead opportunities from initial discovery through to negotiation and close, coordinating quotations, pricing and technical support.
- Collaborate for Success: Partner with Marketing, Field Sales, Technical and Customer Support teams to deliver tailored customer solutions and targeted campaigns.
- Maintain Sales Excellence: Keep Salesforce updated with customer activity, pipeline progress and forecasts, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide a proactive, high-quality customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
Essential
- Proven experience in inside sales, account management or B2B business development, ideally within a technical, industrial or engineering environment.
- Strong track record of managing high-value accounts and driving customer growth.
- Confident consultative selling skills across phone, video and digital channels.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong account planning, pipeline management and forecasting capabilities, with CRM experience (ideally Salesforce).
- Flexibility to travel occasionally for customer meetings, site visits and business events.

Desirable
- Knowledge of test and measurement equipment, rental services or related technology sectors.
- Experience in strategic enterprise sales or Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
- A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, business or a technical discipline.
