We're Seeking a French-speaking Inside Sales Account Manager

To join our European Sales team in a permanent position. This is an exciting opportunity to work with laboratories, researchers, universities, and innovative companies across France while developing valuable commercial skills with a global leader in laboratory solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in scientific sales with a respected global organisation.

If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment where science and business come together, this could be the perfect next step.

Whether you are a recent Life Sciences graduate, have some customer-facing sales experience, or have worked in a laboratory environment and are curious about a commercial career, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Working with customers across research, academia, biotechnology, healthcare, and industry, you'll help laboratories identify the best solutions for their needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build relationships with customers through phone, email, virtual meetings, and social selling
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities
  • Support existing customers and help grow their use of Gilson products
  • Promote pipettes, liquid handling solutions, laboratory consumables, benchtop equipment, calibration services, and instrumentation
  • Prepare quotations and proposals
  • Follow up on marketing-generated leads
  • Maintain opportunities and customer information within our CRM system
  • Work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, and Customer Service
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first contact through to sale

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Fluent French and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle

Preferred

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related field
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, or business development
  • Exposure to laboratory, research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare environments
  • Knowledge of pipettes, liquid handling techniques, laboratory consumables, or scientific instrumentation
  • Experience using a CRM platform
