Job Description

Inside Sales Account Manager | EMEAI (West Territory)

Oxford, UK / Remote within West Territory (Hybrid options available)

At Oxford Nanopore Technologies, we're transforming the way the world understands biology through our pioneering DNA and RNA sequencing technology. As we continue to expand across the EMEAI region, we're looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Inside Sales Account Manager to join our growing commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth across the West Territory, managing a portfolio of accounts, and identifying opportunities to expand the adoption of Oxford Nanopore's technology.

While this is primarily an inside sales position, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake approximately 10% travel within the territory for customer meetings, relationship-building activities, and key account visits.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver against territory revenue targets through new business development and account growth.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct customer meetings both virtually and in person, with occasional travel across the West Territory to support strategic account development.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to execute targeted campaigns and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales teams, Sales Development Representatives, and Channel Partners to maximise territory performance.
  • Identify competitive opportunities and drive the adoption of Oxford Nanopore solutions across your market.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and account planning using Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
