Job Description:
Inside Sales Account Manager
Location: Winnersh or London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Account Manager to join our growing renewals team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer support renewal opportunities across the EMEA region, working closely with customers, channel partners, and internal teams to ensure contracts are successfully renewed and booked.
This is a relationship-focused sales role centred on customer retention, account growth, and support contract renewals rather than traditional new business prospecting. You will leverage Salesforce CRM, Excel, and data-driven insights to effectively manage your territory, maintain an accurate pipeline, and achieve sales targets.
Whether working independently or alongside partners and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving revenue retention, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, driving support contract renewals through to successful booking and closure.
- Develop and execute account plans for medium to high-complexity accounts in line with defined sales strategies.
- Work closely with channel partners, including distributors and resellers, to manage renewal opportunities and support customer retention.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Customer Operations teams, to facilitate quote creation, contract revisions, and booking activities.
- Understand customer business requirements and position solutions effectively to address challenges and support retention strategies.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunities, and use data-driven insights to achieve targets.
- Maintain accurate opportunity management and forecasting within Salesforce CRM.
- Utilise Excel and reporting tools to track renewal activity, manage sales priorities, monitor performance against targets, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for account expansion and long-term growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to better support customer needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
