Role Description

As an STR Inside Sales Associate, you will:

  • Act with integrity while managing, nurturing, and growing relationships with hotel and industry clients across your territory.
  • Take ownership of the full sales lifecycle with a consultative and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Sell, onboard, train, and retain clients on STR’s suite of benchmarking and analytics solutions.
  • Strengthen STR’s position as the global leader in hotel benchmarking while delivering exceptional client service and long-term value.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities and data subscription sales with hotel owners/operators
  • Manage and retain relationships, growing client engagement and subscription value
  • Negotiate and renew client contracts
  • Conduct product demos to onboard and educate clients on STR’s solutions
  • Accurately track all sales activities and client information in CoStar’s CRM system
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

Requirements

  • Degree (or relevant experience)
  • Proven experience in inside sales, telephonic sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills (ability to establish rapport and credibility remotely)
  • Consultative selling mindset with a genuine commitment to helping clients solve business challenges
  • Ability to make high-volume outbound calls, engage prospects, and assure routine follow-ups
  • Skills in qualifying leads, asking discovery questions, and identifying customer needs
  • Comfortable working with structured sales targets and metrics-driven environments
  • Highly organised, resilient, and motivated for a B2B sales career
  • Ideal candidates have experience selling SaaS, data/analytics, or online platforms
  • Hospitality or travel sector experience is a strong advantage
