The Role
We are looking for a UK-based Inside Sales Consultant to specialise in supporting clients from African markets and the African diaspora community in the UK.
You will be responsible for engaging with prospective clients, understanding their career and migration goals, and helping them explore suitable overseas opportunities through Y-Axis services.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the aspirations, communication styles, and decision-making factors of clients from African regions and enjoys building trusted relationships through consultative sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound sales conversations with prospective clients from African markets and diaspora communities
- Build rapport with clients, understand their goals, and provide tailored guidance on overseas career and immigration pathways
- Convert qualified enquiries into successful client engagements
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up effectively with leads
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Represent Y-Axis professionally across diverse international client communities

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer success, recruitment, education consulting, immigration services, or another client-facing role
- Experience working with customers from African regions or diaspora communities
- Strong understanding of African markets, cultures, and client expectations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages commonly spoken across African markets (such as French, Swahili, Yoruba, Hausa, Amharic, Igbo, or Arabic) are highly desirable
- Comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment
- Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK

Desirable Experience
- Experience selling professional services, education, recruitment, travel, or immigration-related solutions
- Knowledge of overseas education, career mobility, or immigration processes
- UK IAA Level 1, RCIC, Australia RMA, or similar industry qualifications
