Division: Siemens Electrium Sales Ltd (ESL)
Location: This is a hybrid role where you can split your time between home and the Hindley Green office.

In this position, you'll build and develop relationships with electrical wholesale customers across the UK. Working as part of the Sales team, you'll engage with customers via telephone, email and virtual meetings, helping to identify opportunities, promote products and campaigns, and support the growth of existing accounts. Whether you're already working in sales, customer service, account management or another customer-facing role, this is a great opportunity to develop your commercial skills and build a rewarding career within a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with a portfolio of electrical wholesale customers.
- Proactively engage with customers via telephone, email and virtual meetings to understand their requirements and identify opportunities.
- Promote products, services and sales campaigns to increase customer engagement and product penetration.
- Support the growth and development of existing customer accounts through effective account management.
- Identify dormant or underperforming accounts and help implement plans to re-engage customers.
- Support the onboarding of new customers and contribute to account development activities.
- Work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to support wider sales objectives.
- Maintain accurate customer records and monitor account activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Contribute towards achieving individual sales targets and supporting profitable business growth.

Essential Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Strong communication skills with confidence engaging customers over the telephone.
- The ability to influence, negotiate and identify sales opportunities.
- A positive and customer-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience managing customer relationships or developing customer accounts.
- Knowledge of electrical products, applications or the electrical wholesale market.
- A growth mindset and willingness to learn and develop.
- A driven, self-motivated approach with a desire to achieve results.
- A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
