Location: The Acre, Covent Garden, London - Hybrid working, 1 day per week in the office (Thursday's)
Type: Full time, Permanent
We are hiring an Inside Sales Executive to join us on a permanent basis working on a hybrid basis from our Covent Garden office. You will play a key role in driving sales of our world-class BSI Standards products. You'll engage with new customers, identifying business needs and positioning our solutions - such as BSI Knowledge - to help organisations thrive.
BSI is the UK’s National Standards Body, but we are much more than that. We are an international organisation that tackles the problems businesses have by leading the development and embedding of best practices. We help companies access new markets, accelerate innovation, become more resilient and sustainable, and build trusted customer relationships.
Standards protect and create trust, but they are only one aspect of our work. Ensuring conformity with standards and regulatory frameworks accelerates our clients’ ability to improve and grow. Our consulting expertise and insights create a rich environment for innovation. Our work across these interconnected areas unlocks value for clients that is not always apparent when we start.

- Engage Clients: Identify needs and match them with the right BSI Knowledge Solutions.
- Manage Pipelines: Maintain accurate sales data and follow a structured sales process.

- Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Building strong relationship with your business development manager to work on campaigns and ensure leads and revenue goals are achieved.
- Attend relevant events once or twice a year to generate further leads or build client relationships.
- Ensuring Salesforce is used to keep track of leads / building reports to assist in managing in pipelines.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a sales, lead generation, or customer-facing role, ideally selling products, platforms, or subscription-based services.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with prospects via phone, email, and other outreach channels.
- Experience booking qualified meetings or product demonstrations for Business Development Managers or sales teams.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, with excellent attention to detail and note-taking skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the drive to achieve targets and maximise commission opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Business Development Managers and wider sales teams.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high levels of professionalism and integrity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
