About Solinst

Solinst is a global leader in groundwater and surface water monitoring instrumentation, with over 50 years of innovation and industry expertise. Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Ontario, Canada, Solinst is a privately owned, family-run business known for its quality, reliability, and technical excellence.

All products are designed and manufactured in-house, and Solinst instrumentation—including industry-standard water level meters and data loggers—is widely used by hydrogeologists, environmental consultants, and water resource professionals.

Recent expansions, including Solinst Flute and Solinst Eureka, have strengthened the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive solutions across groundwater and surface water monitoring applications. Solinst continues to focus on innovation, product quality, and customer support, positioning the business for ongoing growth in the environmental monitoring sector.

Solinst operates in the UK through its subsidiary, Solinst UK Ltd, based in Redditch, Worcestershire, providing direct sales, technical support, and customer service across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

About the Role

The Inside Sales & Expediting Assistant will support the day-to-day sales and operational activities of the UK business, helping to ensure customer enquiries and orders are processed efficiently and that orders move smoothly from quotation through to delivery.

The role combines inside sales and customer service responsibilities with order expediting and practical support for shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, reliable, proactive, and comfortable managing both administrative and practical tasks within a small and collaborative team environment.

As part of a nimble UK operation, the role is well suited to someone who is self-motivated and comfortable working independently while taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
