Role Overview
The Inside Sales Lead ensures efficient order processing, high levels of customer service, and strong coordination between Sales, Warehouse, and Finance. This role drives team performance, supports operational delivery, and ensures compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, support and coordinate the Inside Sales team, providing day-to-day guidance, workload management and task prioritisation to maintain performance and service levels.
- Oversee the full order lifecycle from quotation to shipment, ensuring accurate, efficient and compliant processing of customer orders.
- Monitor sales activity and operational performance, producing reports and insights to identify trends, address issues and support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and team data to support customer account management, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Deliver excellent customer service, managing customer communications, issue resolution and complaints in line with company procedures and ISO standards.
- Support commercial objectives by promoting SENKO products, identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
- Train, mentor and onboard new team members, fostering knowledge sharing, continuous development and best practice across the team.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives, working with internal departments to enhance processes, quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifications
- Proven team leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and support others.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A confident and professional telephone manner, with strong customer service skills.
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and use specialist software systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
