INSIDE SALES MANAGER
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + £30,000 Commission
Location: Manchester
Working Pattern: Office-based
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales leader who is passionate about coaching, developing, and motivating a team while driving strong commercial performance. You'll take ownership of the Inside Sales function, supporting your team to achieve ambitious targets while creating a positive, collaborative, and high-performing environment.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales professionals, helping individuals reach their full potential.
- Take ownership of team performance, ensuring sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives are consistently achieved.
- Set clear expectations and provide regular coaching, feedback, and support.
- Conduct regular 1-to-1s, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Monitor individual and team performance, identifying areas for improvement and putting development plans in place.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Support the team with sales techniques, objection handling, and closing opportunities.
- Use performance data to identify trends, improve activity levels, and maximise sales opportunities.
- Motivate and recognise the team, creating a culture where success is celebrated and high performance is encouraged.
- Work closely with senior leadership and wider teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Share best practice and continually look for ways to improve the sales process.
- Create a positive, supportive, and accountable team environment.
- Lead by example, promoting strong communication, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience managing an Inside Sales or B2B sales team.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals.
- Confident managing KPIs, sales pipelines, forecasting, and performance data.
- A natural leader who knows how to motivate, support, and get the best from different personalities.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to improve team performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable having performance-related conversations and providing constructive feedback.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to sales management.
- The ability to build a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
- Comfortable working office-based in Manchester.
