Inside Sales Representative
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office, based in either Ripponden or Manchester
Salary: £27,500 basic + uncapped commission
OTE: £60,000-£65,000 - genuinely achievable
Bonus: Guaranteed bonus for the first 3 months
We are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Representative to join a successful and growing B2B sales team.
This is a new business sales role within an existing customer base, where you will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities across accounts that already have a relationship with the business.
You'll spend the majority of your time proactively reaching out to customers, identifying gaps in the services they currently use and introducing additional solutions that could benefit their organisation.
The role will also involve handling some inbound enquiries and calls, but the position is predominantly outbound-focused, with an expectation of making approximately 40-50 outbound calls per day.
The Role
- Make approximately 40-50 outbound calls per day to existing customer accounts
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services
- Develop new business opportunities within an existing customer base
- Contact both current and lapsed customers
- Qualify customer needs and understand their requirements
- Handle inbound customer calls and enquiries when required
- Build strong relationships with key customer contacts
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities for the wider sales team
- Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM
- Consistently work towards and exceed sales and activity targets
- Work closely with field-based Account/Sales Managers to maximise opportunities

- Other commercial organisations
About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident on the phone and motivated by generating new business.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- B2B outbound sales
- B2C telesales
- Business development
- Recruitment
- Lead generation
- Appointment setting
- Account development
B2B experience would be advantageous, but we're also open to candidates from recruitment or high-volume B2C sales environments who are confident making outbound calls and working towards targets.
You'll need to be comfortable picking up the phone, engaging customers proactively and spotting opportunities to grow existing accounts.
This isn't a traditional account management role - while you're working with existing customers, your focus will be on generating new business opportunities within those accounts and increasing the services they use.
