Overview
Job Title: Inside Sales Representative
Contract: Fixed Term, September – December 24th
Workplace: Hybrid – 2 days in office per week in Hemel Hempstead Office
Hours: 35 hours per week
Reports to: Supervisor, Inside Sales
The CashStar team delivers comprehensive gift card solutions for both B2B and B2C markets, helping leading retail brands grow customer engagement and drive revenue. The team operates across multiple functions, working together to support clients in the UK and European territories. You will work with major retailers such as Tesco and Marks & Spencer to manage and promote their gift card programs.
The Inside Sales Representative is a key part of the team, focused on expanding and nurturing our client base for bulk gift card purchases.
Responsibilities
- Identify and Engage Prospects: Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and supported digital channels to introduce CashStar’s bulk gift card solutions and generate interest.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Work towards individual and team goals, adapting to market trends and customer behaviours to drive performance.
- Understand Customer Needs: Use insights from customer interactions to identify opportunities across the CashStar platform and tailor solutions to maximise sales.
- Support Platform Activity: Monitor the CashStar platform, assist with account and sales queries, and investigate any issues or errors that arise.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with finance, operations, and sales teams to resolve customer complaints and share information that improves service delivery.
- Demonstrate Best Practice: Operate in line with company policies, procedures, and legislative updates, consistently reflecting the company Beliefs in your approach.

Qualifications
- Sales Experience: Ideally bring previous experience in a sales role, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues.
- Customer Interaction Skills: Deliver excellent service through professional telephone and email communication.
- Confident Use of Business Tools: Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online search engines to support day-to-day tasks.
- Clear and Professional Communication: Communicate confidently with customers and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to Detail and Problem Solving: Maintain high standards in written communication, with the ability to solve problems and remain calm under pressure.
