Summary of Position/Purpose:

The Internal Sales Representative is responsible for managing and supporting existing and new clients, building relationships and managing the internal sales process.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support existing and new clients from a sales perspective
  • Identify, build, and onboard new clients, providing direct ongoing support
  • Create and follow up on sales proposals and timescales as directed in the Company Oracle.
  • Oversee projects from initial proposal to invoicing, ensuring field sales included in communication and passed over where required
  • Coordinate and support sales activities through marketing campaigns and manufacturer promotions
  • Build and strengthen relationships and networks with key contacts at manufacturers and potential clients
  • Assess and categorise customers in advance to identify any potential issues with credit limits and availability and to ensure smooth product selection ahead of time
  • Work closely across departments with the field sales team, logistics, product management, and procurement
  • Share new manufacturer topics and insights within the TestEquity customer base
  • Participate in trade shows and roadshows
  • Enter all sales-relevant information into the CRM system as per the Company Oracle
  • Maintain and update the general database

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Successfully completed training in business administration or a technical field
  • Passion for building strong customer relationships and developing accounts (key account mindset)
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Enjoy interacting with customers every day and bring strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Confident use of standard MS Office applications
