Responsibilities:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join the Anton Paar Canada team. This position plays a key role in creating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base for our precision measuring instruments, particularly high-volume product lines such as SVM, Abbemat, DMA, and SNAP. As an inside sales representative, you will be responsible for proactively generating leads, qualifying and developing opportunities through various digital communication channels. You will engage with customers, support virtual and in-person sales activities, and work closely with field sales representatives to maximize results.

- Research, identify, and qualify new leads and business opportunities through online research, databases, and industry-specific platforms
- Craft and send targeted email as well as outbound calls to engage prospects, educate them on Anton Paar’s product offerings, and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Review inactive or closed opportunities to identify renewed interest and possible re-engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, ensuring timely follow-ups, addressing client inquiries, and keeping potential customers engaged
- Work closely with the outside sales team, product experts, and marketing department to develop strategies that drive sales growth
- Participate in trade shows and seminars, as needed, to support business development and enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Anton Paar's measurement instruments and their applications across various industries to effectively respond to customer needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and activity logs in the CRM system.
Your profile:
- Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, particularly in a B2B (business-to-business) or B2C (business-to-consumer) sales environment, is typically preferred.
- Proven track record of success in technical sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage with customers at all levels.
- Knowledge of measurement instruments, technology, or industrial products (desired)
- Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, ability to close deals effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using sales analytics tools.
- Have the authorization to work in Canada.
