Role – Internal Sales
Location – Ashton-under-Lyne
Salary – Competitive salary negotiable based on experience
Alcedo Selection is proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s most trusted suppliers to the pipeline industry, offering an extensive range of pipework, valves, flanges, fittings and associated products. With a reputation built on product knowledge, reliability and customer service, we support customers across a wide range of sectors including industrial, engineering, process and manufacturing environments.
They are looking to strengthen the long-standing internal sales force in the Manchester office by recruiting a determined, service focused Internal Sales Person to develop existing business relationships. The candidate will be charged with building sales spend while driving customer service values and ensuring accuracy in order processing.

Key Tasks
- Develop contacts and relationships with customers to ensure that they are the first choice when customers are placing orders.
- Develop allocated account spend by delivering first class service.
- Be familiar with customers and understand regular requirements.
- Take ownership of any complaints and resolve to a conclusion.
- Prepare accurate quotations for customers.
- Utilise system software to follow up and manage customer contact.
- Identify new products to add to our portfolio and work with the sales and inventory team to attack the market, promoting these products.
- Be aware of competitor activity, report changes and trends in the marketplace.

Knowledge of selling ideally Tubes, Valves or Fittings would be ideal, however experience in selling industrial consumables including Bearings, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Pumps, Industrial fasteners, Seals, Process instrumentation, Power Transmission or Industrial Hose Supplies would also be great.
