Inside Sales Representative

Location: Eccles - fully office based

Salary: £30,000-£40,000 DOE + 5-10% of base salary

Contact: Perm

Hours: Mon-Fri (Full Time)

We're working with a well-established business in Eccles that is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join its EMEA commercial team. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for managing inbound enquiries, qualifying new leads, supporting customers and working closely with the wider sales team to identify new commercial opportunities.

Job Spec:

  • Responding to inbound sales enquiries from the website, marketing campaigns, trade shows and other lead-generation channels
  • Qualifying new leads by understanding customer requirements, applications, volumes and timescales
  • Following up with prospective customers and keeping lead activity up to date on the CRM
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Coordinating customer sample requests from initial enquiry through to delivery
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requests are handled efficiently
  • Tracking sample deliveries and following up with customers to gather feedback
  • Identifying potential new commercial opportunities
  • Acting as the first point of contact for general customer enquiries
  • Providing customers with product information, documentation and availability details
  • Supporting the sales team with quotes, CRM updates, pricing, opportunity tracking and reporting
  • Preparing reports, presentations and dashboards for management
  • Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity records
  • Supporting marketing and sales campaigns
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and the customer experience

Person Spec:

  • 2-5 years' experience in inside sales, customer service, sales administration or commercial support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • A customer-focused approach with a genuine interest in building relationships
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot or similar
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with different internal teams
  • Previous B2B or commercial experience would be beneficial
  • A proactive approach with the ability to spot opportunities and follow things through
