About the Role
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer enquiries, generating quotations, nurturing sales opportunities, and supporting revenue growth across the UK business.
This position is part of the Commercial Team located in Redditch, Worcestershire and will be on-site.
As a key member of our commercial organisation, you'll play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping customers find the right solutions for their environmental and water monitoring needs. You'll work closely with Regional Sales Managers, Customer Service teams, and customers to build strong relationships, manage sales opportunities, and contribute directly to business growth.

In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Responding to inbound customer enquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Preparing and following up quotations to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Managing sales opportunities through Salesforce and maintaining accurate CRM records.
- Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services.
- Collaborating closely with Regional Sales Managers and Customer Service teams to support customer requirements.
- Managing and progressing opportunities throughout the sales pipeline.
- Delivering against activity, revenue, and performance targets.
- Supporting customer retention through proactive engagement and excellent service.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Previous experience in an inside sales, customer service, account management, sales support, or other customer-facing commercial role.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce experience is advantageous).
- Strong track record of managing customer relationships and sales opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Industrial, manufacturing, engineering, technical, construction, environmental, or related sectors.
- Working within a target-driven sales environment.
- Customer relationship management and commercial account development.
