Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to drive new business development through proactive outbound engagement, prospecting activity, and customer acquisition across the UK region.

Working alongside Sales Managers as part of a regional team, the role focuses on generating new business opportunities, developing new customer relationships, and supporting regional sales growth.

You will be responsible for proactive outbound calling, prospecting, and lead generation activities across the assigned territory.

You are expected to have a strong knowledge of RISCO products along with a good understanding of relevant competitor products and market opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop business opportunities by seeking and identifying new accounts, proactively contacting new potential clients, building relationships, and providing information, explanations, and quotes
  • Verify marketing leads and convert them into qualified sales leads
  • Proactively identify and pursue new leads using available sales and marketing tools
  • Act as the first point of contact for new leads, creating engagement and building interest in RISCO products and solutions
  • Build and expand a regional sales pipeline alongside the respective Sales Manager
  • Support sales activity and arrange customer meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions with Sales Managers where required
  • Understand the needs and requirements of clients and propose appropriate training solutions/programs
  • Provide support and advice on the Risco products and maintain a good understanding of relevant competitor products and market trends
  • Promote events, training activities, and special offers to installers through targeted outbound communication
  • Provide customer quotes and pricing in line with company policies, escalating approvals where required
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify possible improvements / provide offers, training, marketing guidelines, competitor analysis, and other business-related topics
  • Proactively follow up with customers to get their feedback, guarantee their satisfaction and develop ideas to build value proposition
  • Keep records of all client interactions (phone calls, emails, meetings, quotes) updated in the CRM system
  • Report customer feedback to relevant managers and participate in weekly meetings, including Risco roadshows and events
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably expected by the company

  • Previous experience in an Inside Sales / Outbound Sales / Account Management role - a must
  • Knowledge of inside sales techniques (negotiation, cross-selling and upselling) - a must
  • Ease on the phone and experience in handling a high volume of daily calls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as HubSpot
  • Experience within the security industry - advantage
