Inside Sales Specialist
Lektronix is a Rockwell Automation Business, a complete solutions provider for industrial automation needs. Providing the very best in technical excellence and customer service from anywhere in the world. We invest and develop within the market.
We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our Newry office and support the continued growth of our Nordic business.
Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will develop our presence across the Nordic region. Working remotely with customers throughout Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, you will identify new business opportunities, develop existing customer relationships, and drive sustainable sales growth within a developing territory.
Unlike many sales roles, you will have no dedicated field sales support. You will take ownership of the territory by proactively generating opportunities, building customer relationships, and managing the sales process from initial contact through quotation, negotiation, and order placement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase sales across the Nordic region.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting activities.
- Develop relationships with both existing and prospective customers to maximise long-term sales potential.
- Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate opportunity records within CRM systems.
- Generate quotations for repairs, spare parts, and replacement products.
- Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and revenue growth.
- Research target industries, key accounts, and market opportunities within the Nordic region.
- Reactivate inactive customers and increase engagement with existing accounts.
- Build relationships with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical, workshop, and commercial teams to develop customer solutions.
- Achieve agreed sales, margin, and activity targets.
- Provide regular market intelligence and customer feedback to support business planning.
- Support customers throughout the full sales cycle, including enquiries, quotations, order processing, and after-sales support.
- Represent the business through telephone, video meetings, email, and social selling platforms such as LinkedIn.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
