Help industry insiders turn what they know into social and environmental progress
Inside Track is looking for an Insider Movement Lead to build trusted relationships with experienced professionals and help turn their collective insight into meaningful change.
About Inside Track
Inside Track is a UK non-profit building confidential movements of senior professionals inside powerful industries. It creates protected spaces where people can share insights about the cultures, structures, norms and incentives holding their industries back, helps turn that insight into action for social and environmental change, and identifies where action could make a meaningful difference.
The Insider Movement Lead sits at the heart of this work. You will:
- Build trust one person at a time
- Lead individual and group conversations
- Notice patterns across different perspectives
- Help people move from isolated insight towards collective understanding and action
This is not a conventional campaigning, policy or account-management role. It combines relationship building, facilitation, qualitative research, strategy, systems influencing and careful project leadership. You will need to be:

Who this could suit
We will particularly prioritise candidates with direct experience of powerful industries, especially technology, food or finance, while remaining open to exceptional generalists from consulting, professional services, public service, charities, brand, innovation, advertising, research or strategy.
You should be:
- An exceptional listener who can earn trust without rushing to an answer
- Able to facilitate senior people and hold different perspectives with confidence
- Experienced in qualitative research, systems influencing or both
- Skilled at identifying themes, patterns and points of leverage
- A clear writer and strong qualitative thinker
- Comfortable working through uncertainty without a complete playbook
- Warm, curious, resilient, high conviction and low ego
- Serious about helping people inside powerful institutions contribute to social and environmental change

You do not need to be a public campaigner or an expert in every industry. We are looking for professional credibility, careful judgement, genuine curiosity and the ability to help other people think and act together.
What Inside Track offers
- Coaching and support
- Substantial ownership and the opportunity to shape the role
- Genuine flexibility across three to five days per week

Key Details
- Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 FTE, depending on relevant experience and pro-rated for part-time working
- Working pattern: 3 to 5 days per week
- Location: UK-based, with remote working and some London / in-person meetings
- Deadline: Monday 7th September
