Debenhams Group is one of the UK's most exciting retail transformation stories.

Over the past few years, we've evolved from a traditional online retailer into a technology-led marketplace business, powered by a proprietary platform, a growing ecosystem of brand partners and a portfolio of iconic consumer brands.

Today, Debenhams sits at the heart of the Group as Britain's Online Department Store, alongside boohoo, boohooMAN, PrettyLittleThing and Karen Millen. Together, we're building a more agile, scalable and profitable business focused on long-term growth.

This is an ambitious business undergoing significant change, and Finance plays a critical role in helping shape what comes next.

The Role

As an Insight Analyst, you will support the Insights team in helping the business understand performance across our brands and functions. You’ll work alongside experienced analysts to gather data, run analysis, create reports, and support stakeholders in making informed, data-led decisions across customer, product and digital.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their analytics career who wants exposure to large datasets, business performance metrics, and cross-functional insight work. You’ll learn from a supportive team, work across multiple areas of the business, and develop both your technical and commercial skills as you grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
