Salary: £55–£65k per year (DOE)

Location: Leeds / flexible hybrid

Are you an experienced insight leader with a strong background in quantitative research? Our client is looking for an Insight Director to join their team on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover. You’ll take a senior role across complex research projects, lead an important client relationship and support the team to deliver high-quality, commercially focused insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex quantitative research projects from proposal through to delivery, managing quality, timelines, budgets and resources
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and identifying opportunities to grow accounts
  • Coordinate project teams and wider internal resources to ensure projects run efficiently and to a high standard
  • Lead client debriefs and deliver clear, actionable recommendations that address business objectives
  • Take responsibility for account financials, revenue targets, proposals, pipeline and new business opportunities
  • Support the motivation, development and effective management of the wider team

About You

  • 8+ years’ relevant experience in market research agency environment
  • Strong quantitative research experience; FMCG, consumer or innovation research experience would be beneficial
  • Confident managing senior client relationships and complex, often fast-paced projects
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets, revenue targets and account growth
  • An experienced and collaborative team leader who is comfortable navigating challenges and finding practical solutions

This is a one-year fixed-term maternity cover. Location is flexible for the right person, although regular visits to the Leeds office will be required.
