We are looking for a Data & Insight Partner to help turn data into meaningful action across the UK business. This is a business-facing analytics role, ideal for someone who can combine strong analytical capability with commercial understanding, stakeholder influence and excellent data storytelling.
About the role
As a Data & Insight Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, diagnose performance opportunities and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations. You will use data, analytics and scenario modelling to support better decision-making, improve operational and commercial performance, and help embed an insight-led culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand priorities, challenges, opportunities and reporting needs.
- Gathering and shaping report requirements, translating business questions into clear analytical outputs and success criteria.
- Designing, building and testing reports and dashboards, ensuring outputs are accurate, usable and aligned to stakeholder requirements.
- Using Power BI to create compelling, high-quality visualisations and self-service reporting products.
- Diagnosing business issues through root cause analysis, performance investigation and structured analytical thinking.
- Developing scenario models, forecasts and expected outcomes to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations with quantified value and business impact.
- Influencing decision-making through evidence-based insight, data storytelling and strong stakeholder engagement.
- Supporting adoption of self-service analytics, data literacy and insight-led management practices.

What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in data, insight, analytics, management information or business intelligence roles.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including report/dashboard design, data visualisation and creating user-friendly analytical products.
- Experience gathering report requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear, testable reporting solutions.
- Ability to design, build, test and iterate reports to ensure accuracy, quality and practical business use.
- Strong business problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and structured analytical thinking.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to link insight to business outcomes, benefits and performance improvement.
- Experience with scenario modelling, forecasting, performance management or benefits tracking.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge, influence and advise.
- A collaborative mindset and passion for building an insight-led culture.
Technical skills
Essential:
- Strong Power BI capability, including dashboard/report design, data visualisation and self-service analytics.
- Strong SQL skills, with the ability to query, transform and analyse data from multiple sources.

Desirable:
- Experience using Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience using SPSS or other statistical analysis tools to support deeper analytical work.
- Experience using Copilot Studio or other AI agent management tools to develop, manage or optimise AI-enabled solutions.
What success looks like
- Insight and reporting outputs are trusted, adopted and used to support business decisions.
- Recommendations lead to measurable improvements in growth, conversion, retention, service, productivity or operational effectiveness.
- Reports and dashboards are accurate, well-designed and aligned to agreed stakeholder requirements.
- Stakeholders are confident using self-service analytics and understand the insight behind key performance trends.
- Strategic and operational decisions are supported by clear analysis, scenario modelling and evidence-based recommendations.
- Business benefits can be clearly linked to the insight, reporting and recommendations provided.
