They are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Insights Analyst to join their Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative environment where data plays a critical role in business decision-making and strategic planning.

About the Role

As an Insights Analyst, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful, data-driven insights that support operational performance and business objectives.

You will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, identifying trends and opportunities, and presenting actionable recommendations that influence decision-making at all levels of the business.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent analytical skills, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders whilst managing multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support business performance monitoring.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver valuable business insights.
  • Translate technical findings into clear, meaningful recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build and optimise data models to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support ongoing business improvement initiatives through robust analysis and performance reporting.
  • Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and accuracy.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience using:
    • Power BI Desktop
    • Power BI Service
    • Power Query
  • Experience developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience working with multiple databases and data sources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a wider team.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story through data.
