Role Purpose

This position will be supporting E15 Insights, part of Levy UK & Ireland, a division of Compass Group. E15 Insights uses data, analytics and deep insights to drive business strategy, innovation and decision-making.

Across Levy UK&I, E15 Insights creates value through elevating operational delivery, enhancing consumer experiences and optimizing innovation and new investment opportunities. Areas of impact will range across E15 Insights remit in sports stadia and facilities, arenas, theatres and other venues.

The role will be ultimately responsible for providing business partnering to decision makers across a selection of venues to maximise the value from data and insights and to ensure that decision makers are making data-driven decisions. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the data and dashboarding is up to date and complete for all relevant venues and includes the most up to date analytics from across our suite of dashboards.

More About The Role

Could you shine as an Insights Analyst supporting the NEC contract, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the insights to drive business change and more effective decision-making?

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Deliver key deliverables to client and Levy stakeholders to include event by event analysis, insight creation, operational statistics and financial reports.
  • Develop action plans alongside operations to maximise revenue and margin, exploring the potential impact of changes, and informing ROI models to ensure the right decision is made. Support ongoing review of performance and deliver analytics that answer the ‘so-what’ question.
  • Work with the BUILT team to identify opportunities for technology and innovation to improve performance and support the measurement of the success of new projects implemented.
  • Support ideal data collection methodologies before then using the data to inform decisions around changes to the venue to deliver a great service for our guests.
  • Support finance team colleagues with budgeting and forecasting processes, offering innovation and insights into the creation of more accurate forecasting.
  • Obtain, cleanse and integrate data from new and existing sources into models that allow for easier reporting and analysis, minimising manual processes wherever possible.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities within the team. Take ownership of processes and demonstrate pride in solving problems independently.
  • A hybrid working pattern is expected with a split between office working at the NEC offices in Birmingham, other NEC venues and home.
  • Attendance at some events to observe performance and identify improvements will be expected.
