Job Title: Insights Manager
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £56,626 (per annum)
Location: Hybrid, London
Application end date: 16th August 2026
Job Purpose
You will manage the Publishing and Events (P&E) Insights team (2 x data analysts), providing analysis and insights to guide effective decision making across the business. You are responsible for, and will deliver, actionable reporting, in-depth analyses, and strategic recommendations for the product portfolio to a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management. You cut through the noise to communicate clear information, bridging the gap between data and the business. You will lead and develop the insights team, fostering professional growth through active mentoring and workload management.
You will create and operationalise the P&E Insights strategy, improving processes, standards and the utility of reporting. By collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand their goals, you will ensure the strategy directly addresses and delivers on business needs. Working in close collaboration with the data department you will drive improvements to existing data sources, and manage the migration and quality assurance of new sources. You will ensure the business gets the benefit of the data it has access to, balancing short term delivery with long term developments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
