Field Insight Manager – Global Branded Drinks Business

Location: Central London, 3 days a week

Our client is a global branded drinks business recognised for shaping culture, driving category innovation and setting the benchmark for premium activation in the market. Operating in more than 170 countries, the business is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and commercially driven — with Field Sales acting as a critical growth engine. The organisation is investing heavily in new technologies, modern data capabilities and evolving ways of working, making this an exciting time to join.

The role:

You’ll shape the future of Field Sales across the Impulse channel by turning complex data into clear strategic direction. This role blends commercial insight, stakeholder influence and hands-on project management — particularly around implementing new technologies, new tools and modernised ways of working. It’s a high-visibility position with real impact on both long-term strategy and short-term performance.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Insight & Channel Performance

  • Conduct regular channel analysis to uncover growth opportunities
  • Build and deliver strategic recommendations that influence senior stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally to shape long-term Impulse channel strategy

Long-Term Planning & Forecasting

  • Set KPIs, targets and forecasts based on industry trends and emerging opportunities
  • Own long-range planning for the channel, coaching teams on key trends
  • Course-correct performance plans using data-driven insight

Data Storytelling & Stakeholder Influence

  • Turn data into compelling narratives that drive decision-making
  • Present insights confidently at all levels, aligning teams behind strategic direction
  • Combine internal and external data sources to create context-rich recommendations

Data Quality & Governance

  • Ensure territory, coverage and attribution accuracy in partnership with global data teams
  • Maintain high data integrity to enable smooth, reliable analysis
  • Support sustainable long-term data structures and processes

Project Management & New Ways of Working

  • Lead projects introducing new technologies into Field Sales
  • Drive adoption of new systems, tools and processes across teams
  • Partner with agencies and internal teams to embed modern, efficient ways of working

Requirements:

  • 4-5+ years’ experience in an insight role (agency, retailer or manufacturer, a mix would be great)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple data sources and convert insight into action
  • Strong presenter with confident communication at senior levels
  • Excellent data storytelling and visualisation skills
  • Highly organised, detail-driven and able to prioritise effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
  • A perfectionist’s eye for data accuracy and quality

Performance expectations

  • Deliver monthly strategic reviews with clear recommendations
  • Build strong, process-driven ways of working with agency partners
  • Own target creation, monitoring and delivery through external partners
  • Present long-term strategic proposals to senior leadership
  • Lead monthly performance reviews with National Sales Managers
  • Coach and mentor team members to support their development
