Role Summary
Working within the Insight Solutions group, the Insight Manager (12 months - Maternity Cover) is an influential member of the commercial team. The Insight Manager makes a positive difference to our clients through ensuring that personally and collectively we deliver accurate and timely best-in-class insights to clients. The Insight Manager also takes a lead role in creating configurable client solutions where needed and is seen as a go-to insight expert by account management and sales teams.

Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Excel and/or equivalent analytical tool/language (Python, R).
- Highly numerate and familiar with statistics, i.e. correlations, standard deviations, use of control groups
- Proven ability to turn data into stories that clients understand and value
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for developing long-term client partnerships through insight
- Experience building customer-level analytical models (e.g., segmentations) is highly desirable
- Experience with AI/machine learning tools is also highly desirable

Experience:
- Must have strong numerical background either through a degree or relevant professional experience
- Strong experience (4+ years) in an insight, analytics or data science role—ideally within a relevant sector, i.e. Hospitality or Retail
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for both collective and personal delivery of best in class insights to both clients.
- Leads the creation of configurable (i.e. efficient to deliver and re-deliver) solutions for clients where necessary to maintain and build client engagement.
- Regular direct engagement with our most valuable clients, helping build Reward’s reputation as a leading insight business as well as ensuring that clients can act confidently using our insights and any complex needs are clearly understood.
- Take steps – and encourage others to take steps - to understand the customers, companies, opportunities and challenges relating to the commercial team.
- Assumes a prominent role in the day to day operation of the commercial team through regular review, planning and general communication within the group. Offers ideas to benefit the overall success and productivity of the group. This includes representatives from account management, sales and Activation Solutions.
- Adopt and develop ways of working that build team efficiency. This includes appropriate adoption of new technologies and AI.
- Engages with Reward’s Data Product and Data Engineering teams to drive the quality and efficiency of Reward’s insights output in line with the 3 A’s principles (Accuracy, Accessibility, Actionability).
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of both individual and team outputs through development and maintenance of a collective quality control and associated process improvements.
- Contributes and co-ordinates thoughts and ideas to help ensure that Reward’s product catalogue remains aligned with current and future client needs and ahead of our competition.
