Insights & Reporting Analyst - Hybrid
Location: Leatherhead, UK
Team: Performance Analytics & Insights

Reports to: Head of Performance Analytics & Insights
About the role
At Zoetis, data helps us make better decisions for our customers and our business. As an Insights & Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us become a more data-driven, insights-led organisation. You will design and deliver high-quality reporting and data-driven insights that help our Sales, Marketing and Digital teams understand performance, identify opportunities and make better-informed decisions across the customer journey. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, challenge the questions being asked and translate business requirements into practical, user-friendly insight solutions. A key part of the role will also be ensuring that our data is accurate, available, secure and fit for purpose across multiple sources and systems. You will help strengthen our data foundations while continuously improving how colleagues access, understand and use insights.
What you'll do
You will:
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to understand Sales and Marketing data and reporting requirements, challenging and refining needs where appropriate.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve reports, dashboards and analysis supporting Sales, Marketing and Digital teams.
- Design and deliver Power BI reports with a strong focus on usability, readability, performance and an intuitive user experience.
- Build robust and efficient data models that enable reliable and scalable reporting.
- Provide quality assurance and support the import of internal and external sales data.
- Identify data quality gaps and opportunities to combine different data sources to create richer, more meaningful insights.
- Establish and promote data visualisation best practices and standards across the organisation.
- Support local Sales and Marketing teams with self-service reporting, where appropriate, providing training and guidance on BI, data visualisation and analytics.
- Create and maintain clear documentation and SOPs for reports, ensuring continuity and effective knowledge transfer.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve how we measure and report the impact of Sales and Marketing initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights and best practices to continuously enhance reporting solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to the reporting database environment and reports.
- Assess and communicate the impact of changes and updates to source production systems on reporting solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal IT teams on complex data requirements and solutions.
- Maintain high standards of data confidentiality, quality and security.
- Comply with relevant pharmacovigilance obligations.

What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical and technical capability with excellent stakeholder skills. You will have:
- Experience gathering business and user requirements and translating them into effective Power BI reports and insight solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Experience collaborating with internal IT teams on complex data requirements and solutions.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Experience identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the reporting and measurement of Sales and Marketing initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as Power BI, SQL, SAP, Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
- The ability to translate technical or complex business requirements into clear, non-technical language, guidance and solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to understand the user journey, assess stakeholder needs and challenge requirements constructively.
- A collaborative approach to planning and designing insight solutions.
- A willingness to develop your own knowledge and support the development of others in BI, analytics and data visualisation.
- The ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment where priorities and requirements may evolve.
- Awareness of pharmacovigilance obligations and regulations relating to data processing and reporting.
Qualifications
You will ideally have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Professional certification or formal training in Business Intelligence, data visualisation and analytics.
