Azerion

Azerion is a global digital entertainment and media platform, combining creative and technology to deliver brand performance and monetise publishers. With over 1,250 employees across nearly 30 global offices, Azerion is headquartered in Amsterdam and is one of the world's fastest-growing digital companies. We own the creative and technology in our platform, offering our partners unrivalled audience insight, brand safety, efficiency and effectiveness.

The Role

The Insights & Research Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality audience, market and brand research that supports Azerion’s commercial, marketing and growth strategies in the UK.

This is a hands on role for someone who is confident working directly with research platforms, building bespoke surveys, analysing complex datasets and turning research into clear, compelling and commercially relevant insights.

The role will sit at the heart of the Growth Team, working closely with Sales, Client Success, Creative and Marketing to ensure that client briefs, RTBs, pitches, proactive opportunities and go-to-market activity are grounded in strong audience understanding and robust research.

The successful candidate will be comfortable moving between hands on research execution and strategic storytelling — whether that means building a bespoke survey, analysing audience behaviour in GWI, interpreting YouGov data, running a brand tracker or translating findings into a client-facing presentation.

Azerion’s existing Insights & Strategy remit places research and data intelligence at the centre of commercial activity, including bespoke research projects, audience analysis and insight-led responses to briefs.

Job Responsibilities

Research & Insight Delivery

  • Lead the delivery of bespoke research projects across key clients, sectors and commercial opportunities.
  • Design and build bespoke surveys from brief through to fieldwork, analysis and presentation.
  • Use research platforms such as Peekator, YouGov, GWI, Audiense, Azerion’s DMP and other relevant tools to generate audience and market insights.
  • Build questionnaires, define target audiences and ensure research design is robust and commercially relevant.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative research outputs to identify meaningful patterns, behaviours and opportunities.
  • Combine multiple data sources to create a more complete view of audiences, categories and markets.
  • Ensure research is accurate, credible and appropriate for the questions being asked.
  • Develop repeatable research frameworks that can be used across priority verticals and client categories.

Bespoke Surveys & Research Methodology

  • Own the creation and delivery of bespoke client and market surveys.
  • Translate commercial or client questions into effective research objectives and questionnaires.
  • Define sampling criteria, audience segments and survey structures.
  • Set up and manage research studies directly within relevant platforms.
  • Work with external research partners where appropriate, while retaining ownership of methodology and outputs.
  • Ensure survey questions are unbiased, clear and structured to generate useful insights.
  • Analyse survey results and identify the findings most relevant to client and commercial objectives.
  • Create clear recommendations from research rather than simply reporting data.

Brand Tracking & Effectiveness

  • Manage and develop brand tracking programmes for Azerion and clients where relevant.
  • Support the design and implementation of pre- and post-campaign brand studies.
  • Measure brand metrics including awareness, consideration, preference, perception, intent and other relevant KPIs.
  • Analyse brand tracker results over time to identify meaningful shifts and trends.
  • Work with campaign and performance data to understand the relationship between media activity and brand outcomes.
  • Develop clear benchmarks and reporting frameworks for brand effectiveness.
  • Turn brand measurement findings into actionable recommendations for clients, Sales and Marketing.
  • Help identify opportunities to strengthen Azerion’s measurement proposition.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Most importantly, you can turn data into a story and a story into action.
