We’re GIG – a people-first business with creativity and commerce at our heart. We work with brands and retailers across the globe, delivering strategic retail media solutions that cut through the noise. We’re driven by our values – from Integrity and Accountability to having People at Heart. It’s how we do business, and it’s why our team is at the centre of everything we do.
About the Role
Are you an experienced insights and analytics leader who knows how to translate complex data into compelling commercial narratives? We are looking for an Insights & Strategy Senior Manager to lead the strategic insights and reporting agenda across some of our key UK retailer and FMCG client partnerships.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between analytics, media planning, and commercial strategy. You will own the insight narrative across campaign planning, post-campaign performance reporting, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and proposition development. Leading a small team and working cross-functionally with client service, commercial, and proposition teams, you will champion an insight-driven culture that directly fuels client growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Strategic Insight & Planning Leadership: Own and execute the insights and strategy roadmap for key Retail Media Network (RMN) clients. Translate campaign performance, shopper behaviour, sales data, and market trends into clear, commercially sharp recommendations.
- Media & Commercial Support: Develop insight-led media planning recommendations and measurement frameworks that connect planning, campaign effectiveness, and commercial growth.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to retailer clients, FMCG brands, and internal teams. Build strong working relationships and lead engagement with external data vendors and reporting partners to ensure accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- People Leadership: Coach, mentor, and line-manage up to two direct reports, creating clarity around priorities, quality standards, and career development within a collaborative team culture.
- Reporting & Governance: Oversee post-campaign reporting methodologies and metric definitions, working alongside reporting and data teams to continually improve analytics outputs and automation.
- Market Trends & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry developments across retail media, shopper insights, and measurement trends, sharing relevant market intelligence across the wider business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
