Are you looking to develop your litigation experience and build a specialism in insolvency and corporate recovery?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, full-service law firm with a strong presence across the South Coast and an established reputation for delivering commercially focused legal advice to businesses, organisations and individuals.
Joining an experienced and well-respected team, you’ll gain exposure to a varied range of contentious insolvency and corporate recovery matters, working alongside knowledgeable practitioners on complex and commercially interesting cases.
Whether you’re newly qualified or have already gained some experience in litigation, this role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical knowledge, take on meaningful responsibility and develop your career within a specialist area of law.
The Role
You’ll work closely with experienced lawyers on a varied caseload of insolvency and corporate recovery matters, with responsibilities including:

- Assisting with contentious insolvency proceedings and commercial disputes.
- Supporting claims involving directors’ duties, misfeasance and wrongful trading.
- Working on asset recovery, enforcement actions and insolvency-related investigations.
- Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, applications and other court documents.
- Undertaking legal research and analysing complex legal and factual issues.
- Liaising with insolvency practitioners, clients, counsel and other stakeholders.
- Supporting case preparation, litigation strategy and court proceedings.
- Developing strong client relationships and contributing to the successful resolution of disputes.
About You
We’re keen to hear from candidates who have a genuine interest in litigation and are keen to develop their expertise in insolvency and corporate recovery.
You might be a newly qualified solicitor or have a few years’ experience in litigation, dispute resolution or commercial disputes and be looking to specialise in this area.

Previous insolvency experience would be beneficial but is not essential for someone with the right litigation foundations and enthusiasm for the work.
