Insolvency and Restructuring Partner | Top Tier Legal 500 Boutique | Substantial Renumeration | Strong Specialist Team within Well-Established Firm

Position

Insolvency and Restructuring Partner

Company

Legal 500 Commercial Firm

Salary

£125,000 & bonus scheme (see details below)

Location

Manchester (Hybrid working)

A multi-office boutique with offices in London and Manchester, ranked top tier by the Legal 500, is looking for a new Partner to join their firm and assist in the management of their Insolvency and Restructuring team. This firm, while small, is highly recommended for its white-collar crime, financial dispute, health and safety, and insolvency work. The existing team includes one Partner and a Solicitor, managing a busy caseload of complex matters for UK and cross-border companies including banks, financial institutions, investors, corporations, and insolvency practitioners.

This role is available for a strong Solicitor with a following to join the firm as a Partner or Head of Department, providing competitive renumeration in the form of a highly competitive bonus scheme based on introductions (not fees generated). For example: if an individual introduced £500,000 worth of fees to the firm in a year across any service, a bonus of £85,000 would be paid. If they introduced £1m, their bonus would be £210,000. This is in addition to a team bonus and 6-figure base salary.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
