Our client is a specialty manufacturer of technical machinery and equipment, and they are seeking an Inspection and Refurbs Technician to join their existing team. As an Inspection and Refurbs Technician, you will inspect and rectify technical issues by using bench hand tools on products.
Inspection and Refurbs Technician Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and pre-owned machinery prior to release
- Testing products including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Check wiring harnesses, electrical components, and hydraulic components
- Identify and rectify any faults during the Pre-Delivery Inspections
- Recording defects and completed rectification work accurately
- Refurbishing pre-owned machinery from time to time

Inspection and Refurbs Technician Requirements
- Previous hands-on mechanical technician, fitter, or machinery maintenance experience essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude with confident fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and build information
- Confidence operating and testing machinery and assessing whether it is functioning correctly
- Must be a team player
This Inspection and Refurbs Technician position is based in Evesham and is commutable from Pershore, Worcester, Bidford-on-Avon, Tewkesbury, and Alcester.
