Overview
For immediate start, we are looking for an ambitious, hard-working, and motivated individual, who is enthusiastic to work within a high tech engineering sector. This role is full time, salaried position, offering a number of executive incentives with 29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays. GES Group is an Investors in People organisation and an Equal Opportunities employer.
Working Hours:
This role is full time (38 hours p/w) with potential for overtime, and 29 days holiday per year, inclusive of 8 statutory holidays.
Salary:
GES offer professional and attractive pay rates in line with, and above, the current 2021/22 JIB, IET & AEMT Industry Engineering Rates Review. We pledge to continue our objective as ‘Employer of Choice’ in line with our continuing rates review process, GES Group has committed to a full and detailed pricing evaluation of our professional services portfolio throughout the entire workplace as an obligation to our professional body of regulation.

Essential Criteria
- The successful applicant is expected to be time-served in an Electrical/Engineering discipline, and/or be qualified to a minimum of an NVQ L3 Diploma in an Electrical/Engineering discipline.
- The successful applicant must hold C&G 2394/2395, or equivalent, e.g. C&G 2391.

Experience & Skills
- The role involves carrying out: electrical installations, and fault finding/diagnostics, with the ability to read schematics, and complete all Company documentation, such as Engineer Report Sheets and Daily Time Sheets, to a high standard and on time.

It Is Key That Applicants Have
- A proven background and range of experience in installation works.
- Experience carrying out inspections and tests on a range of installations.
- Self-motivation and flexibility.
- Must have full driving license and ability to travel to customer sites.
- Experience using Amtech software is desirable.
