A global distribution company supplying the aerospace industry are looking to recruit an Inspector to ensure products match the quality requirements of their clients. They will consider experienced Inspectors who have previously worked within the aerospace industry or aerospace engineering graduates.

Duties
- Perform dimensional, visual, and documentation inspection on incoming parts and outgoing products
- Identify material and parts for ad hoc sample inspections
- Create and maintain product inspection checklists
- Document Inspection results and outcomes through completing detailed reports
- Create, Manage, and Review FAIRs in accordance with AS9102
- Support and assist the calibration process by aiding external and internal calibration
- Assist with Root Cause failure mode investigation of product returns
- Create and action non-Conformities and supplier returns
- Maintain, review, and action shelf-life inventory

Experience
- A working knowledge of aerospace regulations preferable
- Knowledge of AS9102 and ISO 2859-1 would be advantageous
- Must have the ability to read and understand technical data including drawings and specifications
- Previous experience using measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, etc.
- The ideal candidate would be an aerospace graduate
- Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Word, MS Office.
- Good communication, numeracy, and literacy skills are required
