Position: Inspection Team Leader
Location: Milton Keynes
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:30)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for vehicle quality and operational excellence? DHL is looking for an Inspection Team Leader to join our Finished Vehicle Solutions contract. In this role, you will lead and motivate a team of vehicle inspectors and valeters, ensuring the highest standards of vehicle presentation, quality inspection, and customer service are consistently achieved. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering exceptional results within a fast-paced automotive environment.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- To exceed and manage customer expectations by co-coordinating the operational activity of all Company ECO & Loan scheme vehicles to VWG Group employees and affiliates
- Oversee and point of escalation for the inbound inspectors, CES team, valeters and contractors on site
- Responsible for the inbound and CES team including 1:1's, objectives, employee engagement, induction, training & development
- Ensure inbound process runs smoothly to ensure cars are ready in time for customer appointments
- Ensure inbound team carry out inspections thoroughly ensuring Goods in Transit damage and missing items are captured
- Engage with the Brand and customers, build rapport, trust and be the first point of escalation for customers and a go to point for the rest of the team for knowledge and advice
- Provide CES and Inbound inspector cover and office Admin support when required

This Role Would Suit People Who
- Previous vehicle inspection experience is essential
- Previous people management experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
- Able to work in a pressured environment
- Ability to challenge in the right way
- Strong attention to detail
- Vehicle estimating experience would be desirable
