Position Summary
Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for Inspector / Trainer.
Full-time-permanent position
Weekdays are Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.
Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN
Visual and dimensional inspection of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engine components to achieve the performance targets and quality standards required in order to maximise customer satisfaction and maintain competitive advantage. To lead the ongoing training and development of team members ensuring they reach the required standards.

Essential Responsibilities
Under the guidance and direction of the Inspection Team Leader:
- Actively lead the ongoing development of the Inspection team through the sharing of knowledge to ensure all team members are working in line with the appropriate quality standards
- Share current best practice methods for inspection
- Document all training accordingly and in line with company requirements
- Provide detailed training reports to the Team Leader to support employee progression
- Visual and dimensional inspection of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engine components in accordance with approved maintenance data
- Generation of component repair cards based upon inspection findings
- Final post repair inspection of components
- Receipt inspection of components sourced from external sources
- Reading and interpreting engine overhaul manuals, including technical drawings and relating these to applicable service bulletins
- Ensure that processes and procedures are followed to ensure all tasks achieve agreed quality standards and deadlines in line with customer, OEM and Company requirements
- Ensure positive working relationships and open communications within and across functional teams to facilitate effective team working
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated to correct standards
- Identify opportunities for improvement processes, in working practices and team efficiency within the Production arena
- Ensure compliance with Euravia’s Quality Systems
- Maintain the highest 6S standard
- Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
- Employee must be aware of, and adhere to, the Company’s Confidentiality Protection and IT Security Policies
- Agree personal development needs with the Line Manager and ensure that training action plans are progressed and completed
- Act in accordance with the duties and responsibilities stipulated in the Quality Manual and the Management Organisation Exposition (MOE)
- Completion of any other reasonable tasks as designated by your Line Manager

Position Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Good level of education
- Minimum of 3 years of aerospace experience (MRO preferable)
- Experience of providing training to others within a team
Desirable Criteria:
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft engines, specification and standards

- Effective time management and able to produce accurate and error-free documentation
