Elementa Support Services is working with a range of welcoming and ambitious secondary schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf to recruit enthusiastic Teachers of Mathematics. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Teacher Of Mathematics, You'll
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available where applicable)
- Bring mathematical concepts to life through creative and effective teaching strategies
- Encourage curiosity, resilience, and confidence in every learner
- Prepare students for GCSE success while developing valuable problem-solving and analytical skills for life beyond the classroom
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels supported to achieve their best
- Monitor progress, provide meaningful feedback, and celebrate success
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to an ambitious and supportive school community
- Promote high standards of behaviour, wellbeing, and safeguarding at all times

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is happy to apply—we can help with this)
- Has experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting (including teaching placements)
- Is an excellent communicator with strong classroom management skills
- Brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience teaching GCSE Mathematics with confidence
- Experience teaching KS5 Mathematics or Further Mathematics
- A creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery
- A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice

Appointments Are Subject To
- Successful interview
- Satisfactory references
- Safeguarding & Prevent training
- Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure (chargeable at £64.20 unless subscribed to the Update Service)
- Successful completion of a 12-week (60 paid day) employment trial period
