Installation Electrician Apprentice

Location: Various locations

Hours: Full Time

Salary: In line with Apprenticeship/National Minimum Wage rates

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Installation Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team. This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards a recognised industry qualification.

Working alongside experienced electricians, you will develop the skills and knowledge required to install, maintain and test electrical systems across a range of industrial projects.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of electrical containment systems, wiring, and electrical equipment.
  • Support qualified electricians with planned and reactive electrical works.
  • Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Assist with inspection, testing, and fault-finding activities.
  • Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Attend college/training provider sessions and complete all apprenticeship coursework and assessments.
  • Work professionally with colleagues, contractors, and clients.

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Has a Diploma in Level 2 and 3 Electrical Installation.
  • Genuine interest in the electrical industry.
  • Good practical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Desirable Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence or working towards obtaining one.
  • Previous work experience in construction or engineering.
