Job Opportunity: Installation Driver (Scotland)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Installation Driver based in Scotland. This field-based role involves delivering, installing, and demonstrating high-quality mobility-related products directly into customers' homes, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Installation
- Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly across designated routes, keeping customers informed of estimated arrival times.
- Safely load, unload, assemble, and efficiently install adjustable beds, recliner chairs, bath lifts, and associated mobility products inside customer homes.
- Carry out thorough handovers with customers, demonstrating how products and accessories work in a patient, respectful, and clear manner.
- Perform remedial repairs, adjustments, and replacement works on products when required.

Customer Service & Sales Support
- Provide high-standard, professional, and respectful customer service to all clients.
- Collect payments on delivery or for spare parts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Ethically promote and up-sell incidental products on home visits against monthly targets.
Storage Unit & Stock Management
- Act as a key holder for a company-hired local storage unit, maintaining total security, tidiness, and access control.
- Manage stock movements in and out of storage, conduct monthly stocktakes, and ensure accurate sign-in/out records and return labeling.
Administration & Vehicle Care
- Complete daily vehicle checks, maintain clean and tidy company vans, and adhere to all road safety regulations.
- Accurately complete all paper and tablet-based installation reports, delivery documentation, and monthly credit card/expense forms with relevant receipts.

Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points (subject to DVLA checks).
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo and maintain a clear DBS/PVG check.
- Experience: Proven track record in delivering and installing furniture or equipment, ideally inside customer properties.
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely handle, move, and assemble heavy items.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer care skills with high levels of trust and reliability.
Desirable
- Prior experience in stock management, warehouse environments, or acting as a key holder.
- Experience performing basic repairs, technical adjustments, or remedial engineering work.
- Proficiency with electronic job scheduling systems or handheld tablets.
- Experience up-selling products in an ethical, customer-facing home environment.
