Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for Installation Engineers, we immediately need 4. The Installation Engineers will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning electronic security and fire detection equipment at customer sites, in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, planning installation layouts, running and terminating wiring, and testing systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The role also involves providing clear guidance to customers on system operation. The Installation Engineer will collaborate with the wider team, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism. Qualifications

Essential

  • You should possess strong skills in Equipment Installation, including set-up, configuration, and commissioning of security and fire systems.
  • You should possess practical Electrical Engineering and Electrical Wiring skills for safe and compliant system installation.
  • Hold a valid, in date ECS card
  • You should have Mechanical Engineering awareness to handle mounts, fittings, and physical system components effectively.
  • Experience with security or fire detection systems and familiarity with industry standards and regulations is mandatory.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting are important.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations, along with clear, professional communication skills, are preferred.
