Are you an experienced AV Installation Engineer looking to work on high-end corporate projects for a company with an excellent reputation in the industry?
Our client is a leading Audio Visual integration specialist based in Reading, delivering cutting-edge AV solutions into premium corporate environments across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an AV Installation Engineer to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, while also providing occasional service and support assistance when required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working on technically challenging installations, takes pride in delivering a high-quality finish, and is confident interacting with clients within professional corporate environments.
The Role
As an AV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning support of a wide range of AV systems, including:
- Meeting room and boardroom technologies
- Microsoft Teams Rooms and UC solutions
- Video conferencing systems
- Digital signage
- Audio systems
- Control systems
- LED and display technologies

You will work closely with Project Managers and fellow engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. In addition, you'll occasionally assist the service team with fault finding, maintenance visits, and client support activities.
Responsibilities
- Installation of AV cabling, equipment racks, displays, and integrated AV systems
- Termination, testing, and labelling of cabling infrastructure
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Supporting system commissioning and handovers
- Providing occasional service, maintenance, and fault-finding support
- Ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard of workmanship
- Building positive relationships with end clients and representing the business professionally on-site
- Completing documentation and reporting as required
Requirements
- Proven experience within the Audio Visual industry
- Strong AV installation experience within corporate environments
- Knowledge of video conferencing and unified communications technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot AV systems and diagnose faults
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A professional and presentable approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable
- Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or Extron systems
- Previous AV service or maintenance experience
- ECS/CSCS card
- CTS qualification
