Gas Installation Engineer / Senior Gas Installation Engineer

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Gas Installation Engineer to join a fast-growing, technology-driven organisation delivering premium home installation services across the Luton area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Gas Safe engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, takes pride in delivering high-quality installations, and wants to join a business that is investing heavily in its people, technology, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
As a Gas Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality domestic gas installations within customers’ homes.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Installing and commissioning domestic gas appliances, including boilers, heating systems, cookers and associated pipework.
- Carrying out commissioning, testing and gas safety checks in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations.
- Ensuring all installations comply with current legislation, manufacturer specifications and industry best practice.
- Diagnosing and resolving installation issues to ensure a first-time fix wherever possible.
- Explaining the operation of newly installed appliances and heating systems to customers, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- Completing all required certification and installation documentation accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment at all times.
- Working closely with the wider installation and operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

Candidate Requirements
We’re looking for engineers who possess:
- Current Gas Safe Registration.
- Valid ACS qualifications including CCN1 and CENWAT (additional modules advantageous).
- Proven experience installing domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Gas Safe regulations and current industry standards.
- Experience carrying out commissioning, testing and fault diagnosis.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Experience
- Experience installing premium domestic appliances and heating systems.
- LPG or additional ACS qualifications.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
