Installation Manager

Location: Luton

Salary: £75,000 + bonus

Job type: Full-time, permanent

The Opportunity

NTER Talent is partnering with an international retail and logistics business to recruit an Installation Manager for its UK operation.

You’ll take ownership of installation and assembly services across furniture, domestic appliances and other big and bulky products, making sure customers receive a reliable, safe and high-quality service.

From developing the installation partner network to improving first-time completion rates, this is an opportunity to shape how the service operates and grows. We’re looking for someone who understands field operations, can hold service providers accountable and knows how to improve performance while keeping quality and costs under control.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage end-to-end installation operations across furniture, appliances and oversized products.
  • Plan daily and weekly installation capacity against order volumes.
  • Recruit, onboard and manage installation partners, contractors and service providers.
  • Establish operating procedures, quality standards and training requirements.
  • Monitor partner performance against service-level agreements, productivity and customer outcomes.
  • Work with Customer Service to resolve escalations, failed installations, revisits and compensation cases.
  • Improve first-time installation success, customer satisfaction and on-time completion.
  • Oversee safety training, audits and quality checks, addressing the causes of incidents and damage.
  • Manage installation budgets, partner fees and cost per installation.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and last-mile teams to ensure smooth handovers.
  • Support new product launches and installation service development, including feasibility and pricing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
